  1. Hey Em, How were the natto? When Mom mentioned fermented beans, I was thinking about fermented black beans which are great, but I looked up natto and well it looks errrr interesting. If you need to stretch before ping pong it must be very competitive. It is great to hear of all your new experiences. When does school start? Uniforms? Is the train ride crowded? Would it be rude to use an ipod on the train? Good job getting the pictures uploaded, maybeyou could post one of natto. Please express our gratitude to the Miyokawas for hosting you and including you into their lives. You in my thoughts every day. Love Dad

  3. EMILY! Mansers, I miss you!
Guess what...? I get to play ping pong for PE too! The only thing is...how is ping pong PE? I mean, really. That's just pathetic.
I'm interested to see how you like a big school! I don't particularly like it...like at all. but I guess your thoughts of a big school in Japan aren't necessarily going to be the same as your thoughts on American big schools. so nevermind, i guess. you should put up a pic of your room!! and youur family! and everything!!! :D That tv show looks awesome.
    miss you so much,
    anna
